Bottom Line: Go with the HP Officejet Pro 8500 if you don’t plan to print more than 1250 pages-per-month. It costs less to buy ($229-369 depending on options) and much less to operate (4.7 cents-per-page vs. 9-10 cents-per-page) than the offerings from Dell, Brother and Xerox.
